Chinese Cloisonne Baoding Balls

Baoding balls, also known as Chinese meditation balls, are popular for their therapeutic and relaxing benefits. Originating and manufactured in Baoding, a city known for the longevity of its population, these balls are used by repeatedly holding and rotating them around the palm of the hand, producing a pleasant sound.

These Baoding balls are made of cloisonné steel and contain a gong inside. With a diameter of 4.5 cm, they are available in three different colors and designs. They are often delivered in an embroidered box and can be used for decoration.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the hand is the area of the human body connected to more pressure points. By repeatedly rotating the Baoding balls over the hand and fingers, these pressure points are stimulated, promoting the flow of energy and blood throughout the body.
